Since its establishment in 1979, the Humboldt Bay Mycological Society (HBMS) has blossomed into a passionate community of mushroom enthusiasts. Our annual Mushroom Fair is not only an exploration of fungi but also our primary fundraising event. These funds support enlightening talks by mycologists and various educational programs throughout the year, including monthly speakers, forays, and scholarships.
